“May God give you of heaven’s due and of earth’s
richness.” Genesis 27:28
CONGRATULATIONS, GRADUATES!!!!!
Please
join us at the 8th grade graduation tomorrow, Wednesday night, beginning
at 7:00 P.M. The 7th grade parents and students will host a
reception in the school gym following the graduation Mass. They
welcome everyone to come and celebrate with them! Both Father
Paul and Father Pat will be officiating at the Mass.
SCHOOL RAFFLE
Please
contact the school if you would like to be included in the end of
school raffle. All tickets are $50, and only 50 are sold. Those
are great odds!!! The first prize is $1000, 2nd is $250, and 3rd
is $50. The balance, $1250, will return to the school! The
drawing will be held after the all-school Mass on Thursday morning,
so time is running out!
AWARD PROGRAM
All
students will participate in the Award program on Thursday afternoon,
beginning at 12:30 P.M. Kindergarten through eighth grade students
will receive awards. We will try to do the awards that include
the younger students first, so they can return to their classrooms
earlier. We have a full day of school for all students on Thursday,
but there is NO SCHOOL on Friday.
CHECK FOR LUNCH NOTES!!!!
Virginia
is sending final lunch notes home…there are still a few students
who are down to a negative balance and will need money to eat hot
lunch through the week.
SUPPLY LIST FOR NEXT YEAR WITH REPORT CARDS
The
supply list for next year will be sent home with report cards. Only
those students who have all fees paid will receive report cards. Supply
lists will also be in the Church lobby on the SCRIP table.
RELAY FOR LIFE
Next
year’s new eighth grade class will be helping me sell concessions
at the Relay for Life that will be held at Harris Park on Friday
evening, from 5:30 – 9:00 P.M. We do not make any profit
from this activity, but we invite everyone to come out and support
cancer awareness and this fundraiser for cancer research. I
believe the lighting ceremony will be held later this year…at
9:00. It is always very moving and inspirational.
YEARBOOKS
Yearbooks
will be handed out the last day of school. Thanks to Michelle
Mettlach, Teresa Bauer, Ev Schmelzer, and Michele Latterell for all
their hard work putting it together!!!!!
ALUMNI HELP
Please
complete and return the form (sent home with students) to us if you
are an alumni of St. Joseph School or know someone who is. We
are trying to start a database.
